The Links at Stono Ferry and The Women’s Golf Association hosted their annual Women’s Member Guest golf tournament May 19^th.  Its title of construction was a perfect fit for the tournament as our driving range is well under its way to completion. With guests traveling as far away as N.J, N.H, and Tenn., as well as a lot of locals, the tournament couldn’t have been better. We started out a beautiful morning with breakfast prepared by Loren and Bob, followed up with delicious wraps, fruit and everyone’s favorite, the ice cream station. Michael and his staff did an excellent job with course preparations, starting with the beautiful flower pots he designed as tee markers; it really was the talk of the tournament. We had a very respectable turn out this year with 17 teams, led by this year’s winner, Barbie Bailey and her guest Judy Harris, congratulations.  As the scores were relatively close, the low net winner was decided by a scorecard playoff with 4 ladies tied with a 71. A special thanks to the SFWGA and our staff who helped run the tournament. Here is a look at the rest of our winners:
